Pregnancy Care
Expecting a baby is just the beginning of expecting some of your life’s most precious moments.
Pregnancy comprises a 280-days long, unique experience. For ease, pregnancy has been divided into 3 trimesters: First trimester, first 12-14 weeks; second trimester, 14-28 weeks; third trimester, 28-40 weeks, although we can wait up to 42 weeks, provided that fetal movements and liquor volume stays normal.
For a healthy pregnancy outcome, you need continuous care, and frequent evaluation by physical checkups, laboratory tests and ultrasound scans. You may also need some iron and vitamin supplementation. There are guidelines for antenatal care which vary in each of the three trimesters, therefore, you should visit your obstetrician, regularly.
