Pediatrics is a branch of internal medicine which caters to the healthcare needs of infants, kids, and adolescents. This branch is of utmost importance as this is the type of care a human needs right after birth. Pediatrics involves diagnosis, detection, treatment, cure, and prevention of diseases that can affect a human in childhood. Pediatricians are specialists in pediatrics. Kids need the care of a pediatrician because of their body requirements, ailments and physiology are totally different from an adult.
